ART, CULTURE, AND CELEBRATION: CASA DRAGONES AT MUSEO TAMAYO’S 45TH ANNIVERSARY
June, 2026
Casa Dragones joined the celebration of Museo Tamayo’s 45th anniversary, one of Mexico’s most important institutions for contemporary art, marking the opening of a new season of exhibitions that honor the legacy of its founder, Rufino Tamayo.
Under the theme The Contemporary from the Origin, the museum unveiled three major exhibitions: Tamayo Horizontes, a survey of Rufino Tamayo’s artistic legacy; Before the Eclipse: Archaeologies of Art in Mexico, an exploration of the cultural and artistic transformations that shaped Mexico during the 1980s; and With All My Sadness, an immersive installation by Peruvian artist Fátima Rodrigo.
As part of this significant cultural celebration in Mexico City, Casa Dragones presented a cocktail experience featuring Casa Dragones Blanco. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a special menu including a Ginger Margarita and Casa Dragones Blanco on the Rocks with a citrus twist, complementing a night dedicated to art, creativity, and cultural exchange.
Casa Dragones’ participation reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that enrich Mexico’s cultural landscape and foster dialogue between contemporary art, creativity, and the excellence of Mexican craftsmanship.
