THE COLLECTION GALA AT THE DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART

On October 18, 2025, Casa Dragones joined the Dallas Museum of Art in celebrating the inaugural Collection Gala; a new chapter in the museum’s six-decade legacy of art and philanthropy. Guests were greeted with Dragones Rocks and gathered around the Casa Dragones Blue Bar before enjoying signature Blood Orange Spicy Margaritas and Ranch Waters crafted with Casa Dragones Blanco.

This first-of-its-kind event honored featured artist Emmi Whitehorse, whose abstract paintings translate the landscapes and spiritual energies of the American Southwest into fields of color and movement. Her lyrical compositions, layered with marks that hover between gesture and language, reflect the intimacy between nature and memory that defines her practice.

Throughout the evening, patrons and artists toasted to art, generosity, and the museum’s mission to expand access to extraordinary works, as The Collection Gala set a brilliant tone for a season dedicated to creativity, community, and the enduring dialogue between artist and institution.
